Accredited Ultraound School Seeking Cardiac/Vacular Clinical Sites in KC Area

The State Fair Community College Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is a CAAHEP accredited program located in Sedalia, MO.  Our Cardiac/Vascular track was initiated in 2016 in response to demand from our clinical partners for qualified cardiac sonographers.  We have several talented students currently enrolled in our Cardiovascular program who reside near Kansas City, and we are seeking clinical opportunities for them in KC and the surrounding area.
Serving as a clinical site is a great way to give back to your profession, get to know future sonographers, and identify individuals who may be a good fit for future employment in your facility.  Prospective clinical sites must have ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI registered technologists who are willing to participate in the student's training and evaluation.  Technologists serving as CI's are eligible to receive 6 CME's each year through SDMS.
If you would be interested in learning more about helping to train the next generation of sonographers by serving as a clinical site, please contact clinical coordinator Breanna Wells at or call (660)596-7418.
