Perinatal Sonographer
Perinatal Specialists of Kansas City is expanding with our second location in the Metro area. Our team is looking to add a part-time sonographer to our Lee’s Summit Location. Hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00am-4:30pm, with opportunities for additional days as volume grows (16-24 hrs per week). The successful applicant will have two years of experience as an ARDMS OBGYN certified sonographer in MFM and be fetal echo certified and/or willing to obtain fetal echo certification within a year of start date. A high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology as well as the ablility to work independently, as a team member and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to provide quality patient care are required. Pay is from $48/hour and benefits include 401K with matching, dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, paid time off, professional devlopment assistance and vision insurance. Olathe/Wyandotte Pregnancy Clinic is a crisis pregnancy center providing STI testing and treatment, pregnancy tests and sonograms for women facing unplanned pregnancy. We currently have openings for part time or full time sonographers at our Wyandotte County and Olathe locations. We do not refer for or do abortions. Job duties include limited obstetrical sonograms, collection and processing of specimens, documentation of findings, communicating with physicians and collaborating with client advocates to provide care to patients/clients.
