Mani Montazemi, RDMS is the Manager of the Maternal Fetal Center Imaging at the Pavilion for Women at Texas Children’s Hospital and faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Houston, Texas. Mani also holds a faculty position with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Ultrasound Research & Education Institute in Philadelphia. He has over 28 years of clinical and academic ultrasound experience. Mani lectures extensively both domestically and internationally in a wide variety of venues.
Dr, Elizabeth (Betsy) Wickstrom is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist who has been practicing in Kansas City and Overland Park since 1993. Her residency training took place at St. Luke’s Hospital and her fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. Her practice serves women with pregnancy complications and underlying medical disorders. In addition to her workplace activities, Dr. Wickstrom is co-founder of a maternity center in Haiti (Maison de Naissance), is raising two excellent young women with her husband of 29 years, and is active in her church.
George Berdejo is Director of Vascular Ultrasound Outpatient Services for White Plains Hospital in NY. Previously he was the Director of the Vascular Lab at Montefiore Medical Center in NYC from 1992-2011. He has published multiple manuscripts in various journal & has authored/co-authored multiple book chapters on Vascular Ultrasound. He was President of the SVU in 2004-2005. George served on the SDMS Conference Planning Committee in 2010-2011. He is currently Secretary of the Cardio-vascular Community for the AIUM. He is also Chairman of the AVID Symposium.
