We understand the concern surrounding the Coronavirus (Covid 19) across all communities.  The health and safety of our GKCSU members is our top priority. Due to this and the restrictions on public gatherings,
the fall meetings of the GKCSU will be held by
Video Conferencing on Zoom.

Paid GKCSU members will receive an email invitation with password to join the meeting the day before the meeting.   We suggest that you click the link before the meeting starts and familiarize yourself with the format and adjust or customize your preferences.  If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, click on the following link to watch a video that will provide simple instructions.
If you plan on attending the October meeting and have not yet paid for the 2020 meeting year,
please contact Melody Scarlett by email at
by October 25th for payment arrangements.

Dues may be paid with a check by mail by going to the membership page on this
website and printing out the membership form and
mailing it with your check
(membership is $30 for the year)
to the address provided on the form. This must be postmarked by October 27th.  Due to time constraints of reporting attendance of the meetings set by SDMS, any payment received after October 30th will be ineligible for CMEs from the October meeting but will be valid for the remainder of the 2020 meeting schedule.

We plan on completing all six meetings for the 2020 year and providing all 12 CME's to our members.

At this time we are unfortunately limited to 100 attendees, so the earlier you join the better.  We will keep you informed about meetings and attendance quotas in future correspondence.
Please make sure that the email address that you have on file with us is an email address that you are able to access the evening of the meeting.
If it is not, you may simply forward the email that you receive with the meeting invitation to an email address that you can access on the meeting night or you may reply to the email you receive from the GKCSU regarding this matter to change it.
You may also
update your email address by contacting
Cindy Fraley by email at

Unpaid members and those that do not attend the virtual meeting will not receive CME credits.  Credits will be sent through email in the usual manner after the
meeting is held.  CMEs will take slightly longer to receive. If you do not receive your CME credits by the first week of August please contact Tiffany Smitheran by email at

Email any of the GKCSU officers with any other questions you may have.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this unusual time.

Dues are $30 for sonographers and $10 for student members.
**Please bring your ARDMS, SDMS, and ARRT numbers when you register.**
You must be a current member to attend meetings.

Currently, the SDMS issued CME sheet sent to you through your email following a meeting is the only valid  proof of your attendance at the meeting.  If you are a member of the SDMS, CME's are automatically tracked by the SDMS and you can use the website to track your SDMS issued CME's. If you are not an SDMS member make sure your email address is correct in our records and that you are receiving your certificates after each meeting.
